Who is your favorite player to build around?

I agree Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love is a fun association to build around. You have so many trade options with Brandon Roy, Derrick Williams, and if you want Pekovic. Either way that is an up and coming team. Also if you sim the season and they do bad get a top draft pick so your in a safe zone in case Pek walks to a new team. The Timberwolves will be a fun team in NBA 2K14 as well.

Paul George without a doubt. Especially now that he is a lockdown defender. Great jumpshot. If he gets any sort of opening to the basket it's a guaranteed dunk. He's my number one non-superstar to build against.

In my association, in Season 3 playoffs now, I'm seeing allot of 90 ovr players... is that what you mean by "rosters sucking" ?

Yessir. Lots of inflated ratings and contracts, good players left in free agency, etc.

Lower potential on guys, so guys like Austin Rivers won't end up as superstars. Other than that, I would just lower the ratings down a bit on guys who you think shouldn't be as high as they are.
