2k when are you gonna up the online difficulty?

Just played a rockets user that came down the court with Harden knocking down 3's over 2 and 3 defenders.

Its like people can play crazy and outta control and it doesn't matter nor are they punished. Its nba jam on steroids.

2k11 allowed none of this. Its so frustrating. He went 10/16 from the 3pt line. Most of them were so ridiculous it was just unbelievable to me. It takes absolutely no skill whatsoever.

I don't think they care anymore. Ever since 2k12 online difficulty has been a joke. Without lobbies where subject a play easy pick up and play freestyle games that do not resemble actual basketball. The sad thing is I've been playing NBA Live 2010 And it's a lot more realistic on the defensive end than 2k13

What does that have to do with anything I said? Lol if you would have seen how unrealistic most of the shots he took were that he made you wouldn't have even made that statement you just made.

Harden had a good game last night, cool. But he wasnt hitting 3's with 3 defenders in his face all game. There is a such thing as good shots and bad shots.

The degree of difficulty of a shot means absolutely nothing in this game. Shots that you would do in a game of horse you can make in this game with some of the best defense on you.

It's ridiculous and so blatantly obvious that arcade is the direction of the game. Nobody can deny that. If you take 2k11 and 2k13 and try to do the same shots from the same spots with the same defense on you, you will be able to see that those crazy shots do not go in like they do in 2k13 and you feel that your rewarded for good defense in 2k11 along with having to be able to have some since of basketball knowledge in order to score.

If 2k14 is anything close to this I gotta pass on it.

i agree but i have found out that if you use LT to play d you will always get burned.... i found out the best way to stop 3s is using the LS and the RS without LT cuz it slows you down and you cant get there in time

It's on Superstar level and 2k won't move it to HOF/Sim, so they need to change the sliders to simulation at least. But it's too late 2k won't make no more difficulty changes on 2k13.

I dont even think its on superstar the way some of the most ridiculous shots be falling. You can tell its fake. Like I said before degree of difficulty of a shot doesnt matter.

There's already too many boost to decide if a shot goes in then you wanna put the difficulty on pro as well. You got attributes/hot spots/floor general/dimer/4th quarter along with it being on pro. Thats too unrealistic.

It is... just check your V.I.P stats after you complete a rank match it shows superstar. Superstar level can be just as easy as all-star & pro if the sliders are not set right which is the case. 2k tried to change the sliders earlier this year but too many people was complaining that they wasn't making enough 3's so they decided to put it back like it is now.

Just played a online game for the first time in a while after playing The Playoffs mode; and man I gotta tell ya that online is a complete joke. Its obvious that Online Quick Play is NOT for sim players and it probably never will be. He had NY and I had Golden State and it was basically a 3pt/jump shooting shootout! Melo, JR, Novak, Curry, and Thompson was hitting everythang! I wasn't even mad, it was funny to me. Once you accept that online is not for sim players but for fun factor its easier to accept. I feel bad for people who take it seriously.
Next gen online needs to be greatly improved with the ability to create your own lobbies with your own rules and sliders.
Would love to have a OS Community Lobby.
