NBA Pre-Draft Combine

It will be airing on ESPN May 16-17 from 10am-2pm.

In both the Association, and My Player mode we need the Draft Combine. The combine is drill based, and includes:

Prospect Interviews
Measurements
Athletic Testing
Drills
Scrimmages

Also need:
Real Pre-Draft Team Workouts
Adidas Eurocamp
Las Vegas/Orlando Summer League
Training Camp
D-League

I think that sounds pretty cool. I was pretty bummed to see 2K remove some of their Association and MyPlayer details in favor of a more generalized, stream-lined and dare I say, arcade approach. Prospect game, combine, summer league, training camp, D-League... those are moves in the right direction in my opinion. Golden coins, adidas brand garb that can be bought with real money, the removal of true salaries in MyCareer - not so much.

Really enjoyed going through the draft combine and the summer league in 2k11 my player. Was turned off by that fake rookie showcase ****.

i HATED summer league, but the year they had the combine DLC, i actually enjoyed it, until it said my account no longer had access...so dont make it a DLC

I really think associatation needs to add the combine, it is a critical scouting tool. I also agree the my player 12, and 13 was horrible. Why remove the combine, summer league, training camp, and d league? These thing are reality for NBA prospects.

i don't think they had a license for d league, or it cost to much for the limited use. summer league is probably the same way.. the draft combine is because people either complained about it being too long/boring or they just got lazy and didn't want to improve it so it was taken out/

YES! Why not instead of choosing your ratings, The Athletic testing generates your ratings for you. How fast you finish the sprint test determines your speed, How high your vertical leap determines your vertical, etc.. I guess it could be buggy but has more fun to it when starting a New my Career.

There can also be an option to skip the draft combine for those who don't want to play it like in real life where high picks tend to skip it and rest.

madden had this, and it was fun...2k should definately make our ratings interactive.

not quite sure how they would work the vertical though
