    Camera, Absolute vs Camera Relative?

I was just wondering, most people use the 2K camera and the Broadcast camera, from my understanding, and then comes the question of which controls do you use, Absolute or Camera relative Iso-Moves.

I just wanted a count of how many people use each and if there is a correlation between Camera vs Absolute or Relative...

Myself, I used 2K camera for the longest time because I played the SCEA version of NBA 07 alot on the PS2 and it used what is the equivalent of the 2K camera. I since changed to Broadcast because I feel that I can see the floor easier and I can see all of the court.

I also use Camera Relative because I feel I would get confused to spin the stick in a way that would be complete opposite of my player on my screen.

    Camera: Broadcast Generic
    Absolute or Camera: Camera

for mycareer i use turbo camera

      absolute controlls in any mode

--with camera relative theres more un-wanted animations happening with the ball handler i feel like, i've got down on my "kicked ball, but not called TO's" animations with absolute by a lot

I use Broadcast camera in every mode with absolute controls. I used to use 2k with absolute but it was tough seeing the spacing on the floor while running plays.

2k cam w/ camera relative. Might try absolute now to see if there's any difference.

it just makes it so you can hit the R stick the same direction for a move regardless of positioning. less thinking

Broadcast camera for all modes. Dribble moves absolute. Everything else camera relative.

Absolute for everything except dribbling and Broadcast or 2k.

Re: Camera, Absolute vs Camera Relative?

I use 2K and camera relative. I can't do absolute even though I feel it would make things easyer but my brain can't do it. I've been playing too many camera relative sports game since I was born.

I've also tryed broadcast cause it looks good but I can't defend at all on that camera. Against the AI it would be ok but against a good opposition there is no way.

What is the difference in Camera, Absolute & Camera Relative? I'm not sure I know what his means..? I played 2K since 2K8 and always played on broadcast and never bothered to change anything. Can someone fill me in..?

Re: Camera, Absolute vs Camera Relative?

^ Absolute means no matter what camera im playing on if i want to do a behind the back dribble all i have to do is tap rs down ... cross to the right (rs>) etc etc

camera relative means i have to use the rs in parallel to whatever angle im at on the camera ... ex: on 2k cam mode if you are on the left wing and want to do behind the back dribble it would now be (rs<) and (rs>) on the right wing which makes things difficult because your input would sometimes end up with your player doing something total opposite

thats why i hard map my controls to absolute because some people like to play on broadcast and that camera makes the control a game of its own on camera relative

I use absolute for dribbling and everything else is camera-relative, it's been like that for me for a while now.

I use the broadcast camera view. Absolute on offense. On Defense camera relative, but I still toy around with absolute on defense also.
