The only cap situation and closest thing to a real life scenario that would work would be for them to both go to Atlanta. I mean you could make some trades if you were LAC but it would be to much of a fitting pieces in the puzzle. Where in ATL you can choose the pieces to YOUR puzzle. If you land them there the only pieces you should keep if possible is Jeff Teague and horford they both can score easily. Then just get good 3pt shooters to surround them your bench will be almost set if u can get a solid back up big good luck finding those. Let josh smith and Louis Williams walk for two reasons cap and they get pissed easy

Lou Williams isn't a FA so he'd have to be traded...

Josh Smith will want almost a max contract, which will make it almost impossible to sign him alongside Dwight and CP3.

Best bet is Horford as PF, Williams as SG, Dwight as Center, CP3 as PG, and trading someone for Danny Green and putting him in as your SF.

That would be my starting 5. You won't have a strong bench though, which is a downside.

Not if you sign him AFTER you sign Dwight and CP3. Atlanta has Josh Smith's Bird Rights so they can go over the cap to sign him. He can get all three.

Unless one or both (CP3 & D12) are willing to take less, much less, it cant happen ... keeping Smiths caphold works against the cap, unless they renounce on the rights or they trade Horford for someone of significant less salary.

In sum, thay cant sign the 3 of them plus keeping Al.

So just to make it clear, you're controlling the Hawks? Or have you not started your association yet and are still planning out which team will give you the best bet of making this happen?

I just don't think ATL is the best team to try to get both Dwight and CP3 because not only would they both have to not resign with their teams, but you would have to get lucky and get both so it won't be easy. I recommend starting one with the Clippers and packaging Griffin and Bledsoe and maybe a pick if necessary for Dwight. That way you won't have to go through the trouble of trying to get CP3 to sign making things easier.

                      Good point.

That would also be a realistic scenario, as Smith and Howard are good buddies and also have wanted to play together.

Thanks for pointing that out for me.
