    Anyone disappointed

Nba Live 14 just announced that it will feature the ESPN presentation. For years fans of 2k have been asking for this since NFL 2K5. So are you disappointed that Live will feature ESPN instead of 2k?

      Re: Anyone disappointed

Don't EA have a license with ESPN even if we wanted ESPN for 2K it wouldn't happen...I remember when Live had TBS and TNT presentation in Live 98 or 99. Those were the days...

Definitely not disappointed although it would have been nice if 2k did this earlier. Just hoping EA brings out a good enough product to allow proper competition for NBA gaming so we can see some big improvements year to year. Would be nice to be able to have two good games worth buying and playing for the year.

This isn't exactly a surprise considering they had the license. I just hope by some miracle 2k can get the TNT license.

            Re: Anyone disappointed

I'm actually glad. EA Sports had the exclusive license for BSPN anyway, so I'm not surprised, but I can't stand Mike Breen anymore, especially how he tries justifying every single call, and the team just isn't the same without Mark Jackson. Outside of that, games on BSPN anyway are all whack. All their announcers, from Jon Barry, to Hubie Brown, to whoever it is who calls the weakest of the games like Blazers/Jazz on Friday night that absolutely no one is paying attention to, are all buns. Their presentation is cute, but I would much rather watch a game on TNT. 2K's presentation is cool but would prefer to have TNT.

Don't ever talk **** on Hubie brown. Dude is one of the best commentators around since he was a coach and a very good one in fact. 2 time coach of the year and an ABA championship.

2k had ESPN presentation in the past so no i'm not disappointed, I rather them have TNT presentation anyway.

Id rather have 2K get a TNT deal so we can have Albert call games. EA can take Breen and Van Gundy

What does being an ABA champ, and 2 time COY have to do with how terrible he is as a commentator. He does nothing but translate everything we just saw on the court, in words. "You see here, LeBron loses a defender with a dribble, and gets in the paint before the center can rotate over, and as you see here, LeBron finishes with the left hand for 2 points..." smh. Obviously that's a paraphrase, I wish I could find a perfect example of his terrible commentating, it's gotten to the point where if the game is Mike Tirico and him, I don't even watch the game.

I do hope Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless are involved in some way. They're such pleasant people.

Not really. I think 2K should make 2K Sports into a proper fictional sports network and make it feel like a TV presentation. For me they don't need an official license.

I hope to see TNT sometime on the next gen systems. I think those consoles could handle everything TNT uses during its broadcasts, with smooth transitions between presentation and actual flow of the game.

In association only thursday night games, christmas, mlk day, and playoff games would use it. Pretty sick imo
