Thats great to hear. I loved crew went it first debuted in 2K10. Then the hacks started coming out. And they went wild in 2K11. I didnt touch crew mode again. And havent even tried blacktop out just because I was so turned off with taking my player online. Glad you guys are investigating this. Ruins the game. According to the vid the guy says you still get VC so that makes me think the player is on the servers and can be used online.

Well, looks like we can say bye bye to any chance we had of Crew coming back. These stupid hackers had to go and ruin it for everyone. They just couldn't play fair. Now, we're not even going to be able to get custom rosters with this. This just sucks.

Maybe that's why crew was removed in the first place, maybe it's too easy to hack and too hard to patch

Well, they hired Leftos. Leftos is a coder so what that means is that he manages how the game operates, and knowing what he has made just in a year, makes me know that custom rosters + crew can still make it.

And someone can tell Vlad to make the MyCareer templates in RED MC cost money (just like the Teams, Jerseys, and anything non-playerish) and the situation, if he knows about it and plans to make a new Reditor for next year.

Plus, the ability to this has been around FOR YEARS since myPlayer started. And roster makers HAVE NEVER in the 4 games where we can edit, use the ability for evil. And the general consumer, will not understand how any of it works. (All the modding + roster files.)

One more thing, since you can buy VC and all the gear boosts, and knowing what type of slider sets Blacktop is on and how it performs (NBA Jam-like,) it's not gonna be a HUGE jump from the 99ovr, now if this was CREW (made as a sim-styled way,) yeah I would be a bit more concerned.

Who knows? For 2K11, perhaps since there was no online checks. But the way this hack works is that the myCAREER templates were modified and in ALL roster files since NBA 2K10, you can edit those templates on REDitor. Too hard to patch is very debatable, but it depends on how much was coded. Again, I believe Leftos can figure it out hopefully.

2k must have removed the modded rosters off of 2kshare because they arent there anymore
