Re: The 8 Types of TeamUp Players

Just want to add to this list, but for Walk-On

The Clueless Loud Mouth

This player is as loud, defiant, and critical as he is lacking in actual basketball iq. He'll message telling everyone what to do, yet not understand simple basketball concepts like "rotating on defense". He'll relentless follow his "who to guard" arrow, because without it, how would he know who to guard? He'll use broadcast cam and then talk about court spacing.

The Paint Clogger

He'll look at you dumbfounded, 2 feet away, bringing his defender right by you, essentially a gift wrapped double team. He'll get 3 seconds expecting the ball EVERY time. His mind will be blown at the thought of slashing dunkers actually wanting to have a clear lane. The concept of spacing never crossed his mind.

Re: The 8 Types of TeamUp Players

The "Shooter"

Knows only the shoot button. Has no concept of his character's strengths and weaknesses and often doesn't understand the concept of getting open. He may have the most points, but it's likely his team will not.

The "Ankle Breaker"

Knows only how to wiggle the right stick around in multiple directions. This guy uses up the entire shot clock sizing up his man. Cares nothing about points, but goes absolutely bananas if he makes his defender stumble.

The Bunny Hopper

This guy attempts a block almost every time his man catches the ball. You don't even have to pump fake him. Just catch the ball, and it will be like Tom Cruise executing a fly by.

First Name Last Name

This is mainly a Pro-Am type. We've all seen it, often a few minutes into the game. A player quits and his GamerTag is no longer present. It's now the players actual first and last name. He's also the best type of teammate you can have. He'll generally stick to his man like glue. Want him to pass you the ball? He'll do it. Want him to shoot it? He'll do it. Your wish is his command 100% of the time.
