Did they test this game at all?

I was going to post this in the stickied bugs and glitches thread, but that seems like the purpose of that thread is free QA for the development team and that's not my job. Maybe they should have actually paid some people to do QA before releasing this buggy mess. Don't get me wrong, when the game works it's great, but it breaks far too often.

Playing through MyCareer, during one game nearly every week, at the end of the first quarter the screen fades to black and never comes back on. The commentators finish their between-quarter talk, and then sound cuts out too. This happens way too often for any testers to have missed it (which I why I can't believe they did any testing).

I was willing to live with that, though, but today I experienced something else that made the game completely unplayable. During a normal MyCareer game my right stick and shoulder buttons stopped working intermittently. (I know it wasn't my controller because I immediately tried a different game and everything was fine.) It's really hard to play this game with just the left stick and face buttons.

So, in conclusion, my biggest wish for 2k14 is for the game to actually go through QA before release.

Maybe you should post that in the glitches thread then, because I've been playing the same disc on the same Xbox since release and I haven't had a single problem like that happen once.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

I've had the same problem in one of my old My Career file. Ended up making a new My Career and it stop. Even the "upcoming schedule" freeze stopped also.

They pump out the game annually every year. Usually right before the season. I'm sure in their rush to make a deadline they test it but they most definitely do not test it thoroughly. That much isn't arguable.

I've never had a single problem past learning how to use the play system.
No freezes, no crashes, no loss of injuries.
