The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Mobb Deep - Shook Ones pt 2
Nas - The world is yours
Diddy/Biggie/Busta Rhymes - Victory
Cassidy - Gametime
Buckshot/Skyzoo/promise/Sean Price - Better than you
One Day - Matisyahu
The Game - Champion
Jadakiss - Can't stop me(NBA 2K14)
Truck and Mack - Bang (2k5), The intro to 2k5 is still my personal favorite not to go off topic but with the Truck and Mack song it makes the intro killa.
Sevin-Go for Mine, I think from 2k9, can't remember. Highly underrated song IMO.
As others said, the 2k11 soundtrack was awesome. There are too many songs from the soundtrack to choose from. I have other favorites but that is what I can think of for now.

Yup, that was the first song I heard on a 2K game, and it was a great intro. All those underground tracks like Soweto by Heiroglyphics and the one by People Under the Stair whilst balling on 24/7 or street mode at night on the Washington court was just greatness. I remember you could play on the Washington court when it was even snowing! They even had a court out in the desert and in China!
TBH, i played on 24/7 mode and street far more than I even played other game modes like quick game or association.

LOL, the following one is the only rock track on 2K5 but it was still a goodie!

2K8's soundtrack is probably behind 2K10 (definitely behind 2K5) in terms of quality, but it was more varied than 2K5. I particularly liked the amount of funk they put in this, Dap Walk by Ernie and the Top Notes probably being my favourite. Just wanted to note that Quantic isn't a funk band, he's a producer of all kinds of music. I only recognised his name now because of some Youtube Crate Digging (LOL, yes I said that) I did a few weeks ago through the electronic/ambient videos. Also liked Hurry Go Easy. I also want to note that this was the soundtrack that introduced me to J Dilla.
