We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
His question was a valid one, it's like in Madden where in year two the 49ers start playing in their new home stadium.
It's something very plausible to implement, but 2K doesn't give a damn about Association mode, so of course, not in.
You really can't compare the two though. The Hornets/Bobcats don't even know what their lgo, jerseys, or anything look like. That doesn't even include the NBA license issues. The NBA is far more strict about what they allow in their games. So basically what you would be asking or hoping for is a very generic logo, jersey, and court that wouldn't be anywhere near authentic.

Well, I wasn't asking really, was just giving an example that it is possible. You're right about everything you said, but if they were to implement a feature like this, they already have the Hornets throwbacks in the game, i'm sure most fans would be happy using those.
But, like you said, they could have a new logo, design, jerseys, everything. It COULD be in the game, but it's not. Mainly for the reasons you stated.
The Hornets are not in this game except for the classic team. That's one reason I'm holding out until NBA 2k15.
What I've done the past two seasons is to edit the roster and switch out the Bobcats for the Hornets classic team. Unfortunately, you don't get to keep TWC Arena in the process.
Plausible? its a Legal issue. Way to assume that 2K is lazy though.
That's what I assumed? Dude, shut up. 2K didn't touch association mode, it's clear they don't care about it. That's not me assuming they're lazy, it's me telling the truth.
