    Tier Lists

Most competitive games have some kind of tier list (Super Smash Bros., Pokemon) so that lesser teams can be used against each other. And lets be honest, we are all tired of seeing the same teams over and over. In an S rank match, anything goes. In an A ranked match, S rank teams are banned, and so on. Here is an attempt to categorize every team in Nba 2k14 into a tier.

A Rank: Teams that have little or no flaws. The best of the best.

Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, GS Warriors, Chicago Bulls(?), LA Clippers(?), SA Spurs(?), New York Knicks(?)

B Rank: Teams that have an exploitable flaw, or just aren't as good as A rank teams.
OKC Thunder(?), LA Lakers(?), Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies(?)

C Rank: Average teams in the league.
Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavs, Portland Blazers, Dallas Mavs, Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Wolves, Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers

D Rank One step away from terrible.
Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Bobcats, NO Pelicans, Milwakee Bucks, Washington Wizards, Sacremento Kings,

F Rank: The worst teams in the league. No superstar talent.

Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, ATL Hawks(?)

If you want to nominate a team for a tier, please submit a couple sentences telling why they should go where. Or you can just argue with me. Im thinking about combining B and C tier since B is so small, and Im not even sure that those teams are clearly better.

Mind elaborating? I'm not sure what watching has to do with a video game...

The image below is how I ranked the teams in 2K. The explanation is in this link.

I think he means your rankings would suggest casual knowledge of the current nba.

The fact you put the Knicks as having little to no flaws, and the fact you have the Lakers and Rockets in the same tier as the Thunder and Grizzlies, while leaving the threatening Pacers in the average category is laughable.

It should be more like this:

          A Rank: Elite teams
Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls

          B Rank: Playoff contenders
San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets

          C Rank: 6-10 seed teams
Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trailblazers, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers

D Rank: Wilcard card teams that could be good, or bad.
Washington wizards, Boston celtics, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons

E Rank: teams not knowing what they're doing with their personnel
Toronto Raptors, Sacramento kings, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats

F Rank: Teams tanking for Wiggins.
Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz

While I admire your rankings, mine are more based on how a team plays than how its players are rated. In your list the Celtics are rated 5 spots ahead of the Warriors just because Rondo is in the 90's, but in reality Steph Curry and the Warriors are a much better team. I would even say they are better than the Thunder, since after Durant and Westbrook they have nobody. The Mavs are also better than the Nuggets/Pistions, IMO.

This is about 2k14 not the real NBA...
