JUMP MOFO! (rebounding problems)

Having this odd problem were I cant attempt to grab rebounds flying my way. Cpu just stands there and watch as it hits them on the forehead/shoulder or falls into the opponents hands.

Sorry for the crappy quality but this happens a few times a game and can become very annoying.

In the Knicks game Im controlling Chandler, cannot jump for some odd reason. The whole team is in the paint and no one attempts to grab the ball but it falls into Greg Smiths hands. Follow by a frustration foul.

2nd clip im controlling Lillard and R Lopez sucessfully boxes out but doesnt attempt to grab the rebound.

3rd clip im controlling PG, and Scola does a nice move to box out defender but literally watches the ball fly over his head and also kindly moves over.


Any fix for this issue. Playing on Superstar sim with original rosters(with coach profiles)

I am seeing this as well. Rebounding will need to be tweeked via patch. Even tenacious rebounders are just standing around not being aggressive going for rebounds. One area of weakness for sure.

Really annoys me and is primarily why I lost the majority of my games tonight against cheese ball. If my guys can't grab boards that are supposed to be theirs how am I to win?

I even user control only for Robin Lopez to not even jump when I mash "Y"..... Irritating for sure.

If cpu putbacks werent automatic (not 100% of course) it wouldnt be a big deal.

Who test these games.

i gotta agree with this one and even when you box out they take your rebounds because of the sliding and the lack of over the back fouls

Yes rebounding is a slight issue.

Caused by; foul slider being too low and OReb avg. ratings being >>> DReb avg. ratings.

yep...it's been mentioned before in other threads as well...you hit the rebound button repeatedly, but your player just stands there and doesn't jump or even try to grab it - there's no reaction to your button input. it seems to happen about 10-15 percent of the time

I noticed that I always have this problem in MyCareer when my player is tired.

a band aid solution for me was lowering CPU rebounds a few clicks 50/47 in favor of user, along with quickness and hustle. Seems to have evened things out somewhat.

This happened to me the other day....hopefully it can be addressed...it's like the rebounding version of defense in 2k13 where you would press Y and contest 5 seconds later...

I don't know why rebounding has been so flaky since 2k11...it's been a jumping contest for years now..

i thought my controller was broken.
