    99 OVR as a center?

Has anyone achieved a 99OVR as a center with your MyPlayer? I chose the all around play type and my guy is a 97 OVR completely maxed out. Makes me wish I would have tried something different...

Do the 2 points really matter? Hakeem is the highest rated Center and he's a 97.
I play a lot of blacktop and crew games with my 96 Center. Dominating the paint is usually not an issue.

What height are you? Because that matters...

In reality, no the two points don't mater. But in my head, it pisses me off! I've doesn't A LOT of time getting him maxed out, only to have him limited by his position? Well that sucks...

It's almost as if they said "Hakeem is the best a center will EVER be. No mater what."

        And he is 7'2".

Ahh.. i think taller should make the overall higher. I know when you start one, the overall will change from 62-64 depending on height.

          And what type of center??
Maybe if he is defensive or something specialized, the other ratings caps are preventing the overall from going higher...

What pisses me off is that standing dunk is capped at 90. I'm a 7-2 athletic center, why can't my standing dunk be 99?

That my main issue I guess. If I'm and all around center, shouldn't that mean I can be all around great at everything, and not just all around good? The highest ratings I can have are my post hook/fade-away, which are capped at 95.

Height plays a roll in OVR? Is this new or have I just been oblivious?

And he is an "all around" player type.

When I think of all-around, I think you should be good all-around with no true weakness. But you shouldn't have a high a block or LPD as a center who specs as defensive.

It does when starting a new career. My overall changes when I change the height. I'm not sure if the other ratings change, but overall does. Between 61-64 or 65

Not sure about maxed out. I haven't yet gotten that far.

I think it's the same with 2k13. On that one, I didn't get my player maxed out either, so I can only attest to the starting overall rating.

Is this only for the Center position? Or does a taller player at every position affect the OVR?

I agree with that, but I feel like those should be able to get their "specialty" (ie blocks for a defensive center) up to 99. I would think all arounders should be able to get all of the important attributes to a 92-95, not only to a 90. I know it sounds like nothing, but I want those two daggum points!

Use cheat engine like me if you have it on PC. You can make anyone 99 overall.

In 2k12, height was affected the overall rating of a player. That is, as height increased, so did the overall rating.
