My Player Caps

What's up with the attribute caps in this game for your My Player? I don't think the caps on ratings ever been this bad. I heard something about this in the forums before, but I am just noticing how crazy they are.

I made an athletic, 6'0" PG like I make every year. I feel like my speed overall should easily be able to reach 99 or at least 95. 2K this year has the speed capped at 92 for an athletic PG. Doesn't make sense I can't be faster than D. Rose, CP3, Kyrie and most of all the elite PGs. I can't even outrun Pat Beverly.

It's a lot of attributes I feel is capped wrong and this is just for my PG. I wonder what the caps are for other positions and styles. Athletic PGs, should easily be able to reach the highest speed. From my MP, the other issues I have with the caps are Free Throw (92; slight issue), Dunk (92), layup (92), post fadeaway and post hook (95) I would think the cap for that would be lower for a PG. Onball defense (90), quickness (92), vertical (92), stamina (99) why? These are just some of them.

Only reason I could think of these caps are because 2K wants you to keep purchasing those training boosts since I believe they would push you past the caps.

True, but hey at least you can raise your Low Post Hook and Post Fadeway to 95 on your PG.

I find this funny because my 7ft Ath. SF speed caps at 92. So for my height, I'm basically a Centre thats as fast as most PGs
