Derrick Rose Just Broke My Spirit. What's the Best Performance You've Seen From CPU?

I've had the CPU go off on me with a couple of players, but the way Derrick Rose just carved me up awas by far the worst. I struggled to contain him all game, but going into the 4th quarter we were up by 10 and I was feeling pretty good. Then the wheels fell off the bus. Derrick went into beast mode and there wasn't anything I could do about it. They managed to outscore us 45-35 that quarter and hit a last second shot to force the game into OT.

In OT, Rose continued to bully us and we ended up losing 142-135. By far the most points that I've dished out or had handed to me in this game. I don't really feel cheated or anything, but losing that one stung a bit. Giving up 50+ to a guy, even Derrick Rose in OT, is pretty rough.

What's the best performance that the computer has put up on you?

The first NBA Today matchup I played was Rockets (me) v Bobcats. Al Jefferson hit so many ridiculous shots 12 feet out along the baseline that I had to call for a double team every time he touched the ball. It didn't matter if I was matched up on him or if it was the computer, he just did whatever he wanted. It didn't help that by the end of the first quarter Asik and Howard were crazy fatigued so the bench frontcourt had to log big minutes for me, all of whom he also destroyed. It was bad.....

Probably every game i play against Ellis he just does whatever he wants regardless of the tight defense on him

Larry Sanders had 25/20 with 6 blocks

LeBron started off 1-13 then hit a three and went 7-9 with 9 second half assist and a triple double. I blew a 14 point lead in that one.

Joe Johnson dropped 49 on me in a game 5 first round playoff series. That was pretty depressing especially because I am playing on all-star lol.

Monster CPU performances just don't seem right to me because they shoot like 40-45 times. Monta always goes for like 40 on me, but only because he forces up a million shots.

I play on the Bulls in My Career. Rose forgets how to play most of the time in that mode.

In the my career mode, Brandon Jennings had got the number of my SF on the heat. We have played the Pistons twice and can't beat these guys. First game he goes off for 46 points and he gets 38 points in our next meeting. Great numbers for a player who is not even in the league top twenty in scoring. My team cannot defend his relentless bully-like pushes of the the ball into the paint through our wet-noodle defence for easy layups and associated and ones. Once we start to collapse the D, they pass out for easy threes. Wish my Miami offense worked this well. Wade/Lebron's drives into the CPU brick wall usually endup in a highly contested close range shot that misses, an awarkward layup that rims out or, of course, a blocked shot/loose ball situation.

Oh well, maybe the next gen console version of NBA2K14 will play out better for the Heat team. I hope so.

Back on 2K13 (waiting for 2K14 PS4), Dwyane Wade ALWAYS killed me. LeBron was a bystander as Wade routinely carved me up. He went for 52 one game, shooting 80% from the field. Couldn't miss. Finally I figured out a way to combat him: attack him relentlessly with Ellis and have him rack up fouls.

Is this not normal Monta behavior? Lol. Every time I play MyCareer (I'm on Dallas), he breaks the play if it requires him to make the next pass.

In a cpu vs cpu game Bill Russell had like 20 points 30 rebounds and 5 blocks :/

In 2K13, Allen Iverson absolutely torched me for 75 points in 7 or 8 minute quarters. I could not stop him. He made everything, just pulled up and hit from wherever and got to the paint millions of times.

I actually still won the game, which shocked me, but AI AI was impossible to contain.

In my association mode with the Pelicans (in about year 3) Andrew Bynum absolutely dominated me. I have a strong front 4 and a weak center, and he just abused him. I won the game thanks to Anthony Davis and Jeremy Lamb, but Bynum put up this statline: 48 points, 26 rebounds (10 offensive), 4 assists and 5 blocks. He shot in the 80% range too. Even when I put Davis on him I couldn't stop Bynum in the post.

It just goes too far. In 2k13 scoring PG's did too much playmaking. Now they went to full on ball hogs. Steph Curry seems to strike a good balance. John Wall is the worse so far. He scored 44 on me with 28 shots.

Jeremy Lamb this year. I don't even know who he is (a rookie?), but he regularly scores close to 40 points, mostly with 3 pointers.
