MyCAREER freezing while loading before a game PS3

I've tried for help in the Bugs & Glitches thread but nobody really replies there.

Everytime I go to play a MyCAREER game and do Play Next Game, it freezes while it's loading and I haven't been able to play a match for the past few days. I've tried playing it by pressing start on the MyCAREER menu but it still freezes while loading before a game. I've cleaned the disk as well, no scratches or dirt at all. Can someone help me out?

I'm having the same problem, I've been posting around here for the past week or so seeing if anyone had any ideas on how to help. I've got nothing.

It's really frustrating and if I ever figure out a solution, I'll be sure to let you know.

I used this video when I kept getting disconnected by PSN while playing online games. I think it may also help you as well. I know this is for 2K13, but for 2K14, the files are the same. In Game Data Utility, delete the NBA 2K14 (probably a patch) file. In Saved Data Utility, delete two files, NBA 2K14 User Profile and Settings file. PLEASE DO NOT DELETE YOUR MYCAREER CHARACTER FILE. YOU WILL SEE THE SAVE FILENAME THAT YOU CREATED FOR YOUR MYCAREER CHARACTER WHEN YOU SELECT THE FILE AND IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL SECONDS FOR THE FILENAME TO APPEAR.

I'll check it out, but I have tried deleting those things several times, as I had the problem in 2k13 as well. (that solved it) But it didn't solve anything this time.

I even did a PS3 restore, that also did nothing.

Have you tried starting a new MyCareer or playing on a different account? A save file might be corrupted

Yes, actually, because I thought being connected or disconnected from the PSN might make a difference.

The user that isn't even signed up to the PSN does the same thing. I'm hoping that when/if they release a patch that the problem will be fixed.
