One problem I have with next-gen 2K...
Shouldn't the jerseys look much tighter? They still don't look a lot like Rev 30 jerseys and on some jerseys, the lettering looks too small. The colours have been fixed somewhat but they still look like the pre-2010 baggy jerseys. If there's any devs reading this, please fix this in 2K15.Last edited by Shade8780; 11-03-2013, 01:14 PM.Tags: None -

I agree. They need it to be adjustable in size too. Kobe wears his noticeably more baggy than say Dwight Howard.Comment

Im perfectly fine with the way they are now i bet if they touched it they would make it tight that there would be no jersey movement at all no thanks.Comment

The jerseys have always been a small thing that has always bugged me, I was hoping they would finally be fixed for next gen. They do look better this year, but still looks off.
Hopefully 2k15 is where 2k focuses on little things like thisComment

Yeah, it's a huge improvement over current gen, but it's still not quite right. The jerseys still seem to "float" above the players shoulders.Comment

They need options. I remember in MLB 2K8 you could give your guy a tight jersey or a baggy jersey, long jersey sleeves or shorter jersey sleeves. For the pants they had various sizes and lengths as well. Do the same for 2k
Duncan wears it baggy

Carmelo goes with a tight jersey & baggy shorts

Here you have MWP with tight jersey and short, Kobe with baggy jersey and shorts

This might be coming further down the road in next gen. This is one of the first titles to be released so you can't expect them to fix everything.
Besides, that's a pretty minor thing to complain about imo.

Re: One problem I have with next-gen 2K...
def need to include options on uniform fit. players like Melo, D12, Demarcus Cousins just dont look right in 2k with baggy uniforms.
it might be a minor issue, but as a painter/drawer (pencil and paper near-photorealistic portraits), 2k's decision to make the visual aesthetic of the game its least important priority bugs me year after year when these issues have existed for as long as 2k has been using this player model base (since 2K9?), and they dont go addressed.
dont get me wrong, i love and enjoy 2k, but for me, the culmination of attention and detail to the little things is just as important as the big things. i understand the game has other issues that are more pressing, but i see no excuse for this to not be taken care of.
and its not just the jerseys ...outdated cyberfaces, created players all look related, and create a team is still just assign a name to a pre-made logo and jersey (they're still too lazy to even make it so the team city or name can be written across the chest of the jersey). ive seen better customization on ps2 gen games. imo 2k's visual standards are kind of low. the only reason they did so much with shoes is because its such a big part of hoop culture that it wasn't going to to go unheard if it wasn't addressed.Comment

i agree with some of your post. i wouldn't say they're lazy though as a fellow artist myself, i know you understand how deadlines work. they probably couldn't get it all in and still appease the masses with a solid game with good features, graphics, game play etc. i do think its a great idea that they build on it over time rounding out their masterpiece in the making.def need to include options on uniform fit. players like Melo, D12, Demarcus Cousins just dont look right in 2k with baggy uniforms.
