after what just happened i 100% believe in comeback code.

up 15 vs LAC at half time and all of the sudden steph curry goes 0-17 in the 2nd half, every shot being of B+ to A+ quality with perfect release. not to mention 2 superman blocks by CP3 and an UNDERHAND block from BEHIND by deandre jordan... thats not even real...

You shot 17 times with curry in the second half, and kept shooting after he was definitely cold? It sounds like you just didn't adjust...

Okay just why in the world would 2k program a comeback code?! All it does is piss people off, it isn't realistic, and most of all, they have flat out stated it doesn't exist.

This is the dumbest conspiracy theory.

Dude I usually agree with you but this is ridiculous. First, if I even missed 5 shots with Steph Curry I would let him take a backseat on offense for the rest of the game. Not go ahead and shoot 17 times in one half. Second, Mike Wang specifically posted on here that there was no hidden comeback code. I doubt that he would accidently cause this in his coding, and I doubt even more that he was lying and this was done deliberately.

Comeback code does exist, anyone that has played sports titles over the last 20+ years can tell you that it does.

I'm more disappointed that they broke 3PT shooting again like they did in 2K12.

There is definitely catch up in 2k. It worked fine back in 2k11 but since 2k12 it's been getting blatant on some games.

Haha but if you think about it, that's how realistic 2k is. They do it in the NBA so 2k has it in the game. Just think of it as part of the NBA. Sometimes the whistle\game is working against you and you just have to adapt.

the point isn't that i took 17 shots (because once he had the cold icon i completely stopped shooting with him until it disapeared and i only took OPEN shots)

the point is that the game completely forced me to miss EVERY shot...i mean i was draining three's with guys with 60 something ratings for it but no i cant hit a single basket with curry.

Honestly. if you watch NBA games, past and present, you see 10 point-ish runs ALL the time.

I was recently playing a game in my Legends Season with player lock on Hakeem on the 94 Rockets playing the 93 Hornets....

-I stared the game super slow, 12-4 Charlotte.
-I brought it back as took a 3 point lead into half.
-We went back and forth almost the whole game until there was about 4 minutes left in the 4th and my Hakeem went cold. Charlotte now is up 8 with about 2 left...

I then, DIDN'T force things with Hakeem, because he was missing layups...it was that bad. I worked the ball inside and out trying to get double teams. Anything to get the offense working...Horry knocked down a couple 3's, we were up 1. Hakeem made some clutch defensive stops, then dunked it trailing the play to seal the deal.

This was all on Superstar/Simulation with no slider adjustments.

As you can see from my example, the CPU got their 'comeback code' on, but I slowed it down, didn't force it, and got the win.

Well, that is the point...the cold icon would've come around 0-5, then you shot 12 more shots? That's a lot of shots in a half man...Curry averages 15 shots per GAME lol

                        1. It was just one game, not a big sample size.

                        2. You played poorly and didn't adjust.

                        3. These things happen, even in the real nba.

Think about how many players are playing this game around the world. So many variables. Strange things are bound to happen to some players here and there. It's just mathematics.
