In game injuries?

Why the next gen have this simple feature but the current gen don't have it? I never seen a in game injury sadly, is it that hard to do for current when they did it for past 2k?

I actually looked once and it was turned off in the settings menu- I wondered if I had inadvertently done it or it was that way by default...

Current gen does have it.... I have people injured constantly. Turn the Injury Frequency to like 55-60, you should see them more frequently.

I'm pretty sure the reason Injuries never happen with the Default setting of 50 is because that is what Online is played on and 2K would receive deaththreats if LeBron getting hurt costed someone a win.

But I wouldn't go higher than 60. I turned mine up to 75 the other day and 3 injuries occurred in the first quarter lol.

Thanks for letting me know, lol I just assumed it wasn't in current gen and completely forgot to change the sliders first before asking.

Current gen does have it.... I have people injured constantly. Turn the Injury Frequency to like 55-60, you should see them more frequently.

I can testify.

Had Tim Duncan injured during online gameplay. Not gonna say it cost me the game, but I don't have an All Gold team so it deifnitely didn't help.

There will be, but usually they are RARELY during gameplay.

Well given I've played near 50 games (on 12-min quarters) and there's been exactly zero for either team, they are as good as never...

Really gets my goat that 2K don't let you change the sliders for MyCareer. It's stupid, frankly.

Yeah I put mine up to 60 for a while and ended up seeing 2 in game injuries, I was excited to see they were back.. Having to have the number that high can be a pain though because I am doing 30 team control so results in a heap of shuffling teams around..I like it though.

They seemed to occur at good times as well…Saw Noah come down from jumping from a rebound and fell to the ground and was out with a sprained ankle..The other was someone ran into a screen and I think it was back spasms?

I've personally seen plenty in mycareer. At one point there were 5 guys on my team out with an injury. While i was on the court i've seen about 5 injuries happen as well, can't say how many games i've played since i use the key games. If i had to guess i'd say somewhere between 20 and 40 games.

So i think the frequency is just fine.

I've seen I think 3 injuries in mycareer this year. I played the heat one game and first play I set a pick on Chambers and separated his shoulder. Later in the game the unthinkable happened any I sprained my ankle. I havn't seen a mycareer get hurt since 2k11 but I guess its possible.

It rarely happens because they start you with (80? not sure) durability now, in 2k11 it was probably at 50 or smth. My player got an injury at one point as well, can't remember what but he was only out for 2 days or smth.

I remember in 2k11 having my mycareer injured for over a year, that was pretty cool imo. The part where my console froze every time after that game and i had to start over was kind of a bummer though.

2k11 was freezing and glitching all over the place, it's funny how people seem to have forgotten about that. They put it on a pedestal and make it untouchable, it was my favorite as well but some people here glorify it a bit too much. I'm not talking about the guy i'm quoting btw, just a general impression i've had during my time on these boards.
