Is there a workaround for the VC glitch?

My brother started a second mycareer, but deleted his first. All the redeem locker codes from 2k he has, but in MC, the vc doesn't transfer. Even if he plays an online game, worth 400 vc, it doesn't transfer into MC.

So is there a way to make it work? he has 17000 VC unused.

This Belongs in the next Gen section. I dunno but i thought the VC was for your profile not career. I dont have PS4 or XBOX ONE
