NBA 2K13 is awesome :)

I downloaded an updated roster for the 2014 and decided to start a new Association. I saw that the Start Today feature was still available and figured it would either glitch out or start me at the 2013 playoffs. At first it seemed like it was going to glitch, as it started me at the 2013 All-Star Weekend, but after simulating the events it started simulating the season, stopping me to ask if I wanted to stop and play games. I hit sim through all and it took me up through February 1, 2014. The schedule is correct as are the current standings.

May be old news, but it's like I just upgraded to 2K14 for free.

The statistics are even right, aside from the rookies.

14's gameplay is better, especially with a nice slider set. just saying.

I really can't even say it's close. 14 has so many subtleties that make it better. But whatever is fun for you just enjoy it.

If you have the money I would go get 14, cause its by far the best basketball game ever made. JMO, but htere is not a thing 13 does better than 14. PLus so far anyway I have not had any Association record glitches like had been in 13 and even 12. That very well may be because I dont have any created players off 2k share in my game, nor have I created any players. Im just using the roster I edited which I waited for 2k to get almost every player in the game before I started my Association rather than take a chance of using a 2k share roster and get the record glitch or name glitch even.

This thread was not meant to be 2K13 vs. 2K14, I just wanted to point out how awesome it was that I could play the 2013-14 season in last year's game. I also found out it still lets me play pick 'em, lol.

I have played 2K14 and it did feel slightly improved, but I hate the new controls and overall it didn't do enough to make me feel like it was worth an upgrade. But once again that's totally not the point of this thread.

I just picked up 2k13 and it wasn't a matter if I wanted 2k14 over 13 it boiled down to money. I paid 14.99 for 2K13 yeah it's a year older but I haven't played a NBA 2k game before and I'd rather waste 15.00 on a year older game and 60.00 on the newest one only not to like it.Though I'm having fun with 2k13 so with taxes I just might pick up 2k14 but not sure yet.

Do yourself a favor and go into the roster vault and grab everything worthwhile while you still can.
