Has anyone ever gone 82-0 in 2K?
I'm just curious, has anyone ever had a 82-0 record in either MyCareer/MyPlayer or Association/MyGM in any 2K game? I'm wondering if it is a rare achievement or not. I've gone 81-1 in MyCareer in 2K13 on All-Star difficulty I think, the only game I lost was when I got fouled out and Rip Hamilton missed the game winner, my OCD went crazy after that.

If youre wondering about the achievement 82-0 in 2k14, it only applies to the my team portion, if u win out a schedule of any team and go 82-0, then u get the achievement -

If someone wanted to go 82-0 in the MyCareer mode, they simply have to Quit and Exit a game when they are losing, and then play that game over. The person who does this doesn't have to feel any shame or guilt, because 2k is similar to an RPG game and many of the good RPG games will require you to fight enemies over and over, until your character(s) have sufficiently leveled up.Comment

He is simply saying you can replay the game as much as you want so you don't lose if things are looking bad.
Minus my first 20 games on my rookie season schedule, I have only lost one game and that was due to me fouling out in the second quarter ( I thought I had pick pocket equipped ).
Otherwise I was pretty fortunate to have me, Klay Thompson, LeBron, Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perickins starting for two seasons.
Now I am with the Rockets with Harden, Durant, Covington and Howard.2k16 My Team:

Re: Has anyone ever gone 82-0 in 2K?
in association mode full sim went 81-1 had 4 90+ players and 3 80+ and a deep bench with 2 prospect who were like 90 in shooting and bad with ball handling and other stuff and a pair of twin towers pf 7 feet and 7 6 center very defensive but useless on offense. lost game1 in ot to the bucks went 81-0 after and won all playoff games too.Comment

Although I'm not one to speak on the issue, I always do well but the best record I've done on full sim was beat the Chicago Bulls record and limit my losses to single digits. I hardly remember what the record was. Wish I remembered if I won the 'ship too.
I think the real secret to it is having a good head coach.Comment

Best I've done on full sim is I was messing around and pretty much combined the dream team and the all star team, went 73-9

Re: Has anyone ever gone 82-0 in 2K?
I remember back in the day nba 2k1 on dreamcast I went 74-8 and won the championship. I remember becuz that was the only season where I played every game and finished a entire season and playoffs. I was the Raptors with VC back then.
This year I finished my association playing every game and playoffs with the Golden State Warriors going 63-19 and won the ship!
But 82-0 I believe may be an impossible feat!Comment

Re: Has anyone ever gone 82-0 in 2K?
This literally was my goal going into my first official association with '14.
Started out with the Suns because of the Western Conference competition, and I tanked my first season and came out with the worst record in the league. Did some wheeling and dealing early in the season and ended up with the 1st, 4th, and 20th pick in the draft also got rid of Channing Frye, Markieff Morris and Archie Goodwin (the stupid trade finder somehow got me Nick Young and Aaron Afflalo back).
Drafted Marcus Smart, Randle, and Stauskas, got some contract negotiations out the way and I had plenty of cap room to work with. Signed LeBron with a 3 yr/23mil deal and still had enough cap to resign all the important people on the team.
So I came into the season with a starting lineup of:
Plumlee, Randle, James, Bledsoe, and Smart, with Dragic, Afflalo, and Young as my energy off the bench.
We started out the season hot, going on a 24 game win streak, until we played the freaking Detroit Pistons, broke down and lost by 27. We ended up losing 9 more times and finished 72-10 (exactly what I didn't want.) In the playoffs currently up 3-1 against the Clippers in the semifinals, this is probably the most fun I had in a association. Played every game so far, it's been 2 months since I started.
82-0 has to be impossible in this game, unless you just have a superteam or something.Boston Celtics
Pittsburgh Steelers
Memphis GrizzliesComment

Re: Has anyone ever gone 82-0 in 2K?
I love doing full sim in association mode, but 4 90+ players man... seems like overkill. Even with some sick wheeling and dealing and ignoring sound logic, I usually only manage a max of 2 90+ and the rest mostly 80s.
