Association difficulty vs season difficulty

I don't know if I sound stupid for asking but does anyone notice a difference in playing the CPU between season mode and association mode? I play on all star difficulty and when I would play season mode the only time the CPU is difficult is during playoffs, but when I started up an association I notice the CPU is killing me all the time even during the season. Am I only one?

I play both modes. its the same but i agree with u when u reach the playoffs the cpu are much harder to beat .

I notice there are some gms in the reg.season where the cpu cheat their way to win
