Anyone still playing NBA 2k11?

How do you get 2k11 to start ? This is it's first interaction with this ps3 , there is a 1.30 patch to be downloaded when I put the game in , I've downloaded it and it gets stuck on a black loading screen with the sound still playing. I've tried signing out , deleting the patch and re installing , starting offline , bypassing the patch and playing. Its still stuck on this screen. Can anyone help ?

Since you can't access online in 2K11 anymore, that might be your problem

If your on 360, try clearing your cache. Don't know if this will work, just a shot in the dark.

My cousin had a similar problem. It would freeze on the initial loading screen I think unless you had a user profile created. So I think the only way to do it would be to create one on someone's else's xbox who already has a 2k11 profile of their own and then make yours and transfer it over. But I'm not even 100% sure. It could also be the game maybe? I got a used copy for 5 bucks at gamestop so you could try that.
