Is the gameplay REALLY worth it?

Thinking about taking the plunge on 15.

Since off court all I'm hearing is copy and paste.

Are the gameplay tweaks REALLY enough to warrant a purchase?

Or is this just some placebo ya'll using to justify being conned?

I'm not that impressed but its not a bad game. Nothing about it really seems new to me. Its not a big jump like going from 2k13 to 2k14

In my opinion its a copy and paste of 2k14 with slight tweaks to the offense, defense and player movements. Oh yeah and a new shot meter(its not too bad). Basically 2k14 with an extra patch.

I would recommend Gamefly or waiting for Black Friday and catching it on sale

YES the game is AWESOME!!! I think 14 to 15 is a WAY bigger jump then 13 to 14.

I didn't play 2k14 at all, but it is a major jump from 2k13 for sure. I am glad I bought it. 2k14 was my first year off since regular xbox $20 2k games days.

you might wanna go to the impressions thread and read from 20 forth on since thats when the people that bought it started leaving reviews, i personally say if your an online gamer, definitely get it, online is much more competitive because of the better gameplay, for me is completely worth the money, but if your an offline online player you won't enjoy it i guess since theres not much there.

IM not a online gamer, but I would say if your a online gamers then its worth it. If your a offline gamer like me then it depends on how your financial situation is whether its worth it.

I think 15 has some better animations, and I think super stars will punish you more so this yr if you dont change up your D to try and stop them. Also would say the AI as a whole is smarter, and will exploit your weakness, as it should.

IMO yes if you have some extra cash then I would say yeah its worht it, but if it going to strap you financially then I say dont get it, or wait till the price drops.

15 is 14 with some very minor tweaks to gameplay. I reallly liked 14, and I do believe 15 is form a gameplay standpoint slightly improved to where Im glad I did buy it. Dont take away from the fact that 2k lied about certain things like the Euro players being available tobe signed, or making it seem like Ernie and Shaq were in this game too with having the PS3 trailer show them. For that I dotn have any respect for 2k, because those were lies, but that dont take away that gameplay is slightly improved.

Yeah I was so excited when I seen Ernie and Shaq on the trailer in the Playstation store, talk about a let down after I bought the game and found out they werent in

Players seem to go up with more force to grab rebounds, and the animations are better for rebounding. They did a nice job tweaking this area. Computer does seem to still be a little more overpowering that the User is, but that can be tweaked with sliders, so no problem there imo.

If you can wait for the price to drop I would suggest it as there is no reason to give 2k extra $ for selling us the same game again with no more than they did.

However I do feel the game is worth buying if your a basketball fan. While it is the same game as 14 was, its still a good game. I loved how 14 played, and 15 is 14 with some minor tweaks to improve the game.

The improvements are in animations, like rebounding, and imo they look really good. I also feel the AI plays smarter this yr, not just the Computer, but your AI teammates, to a degree. The smarter AI makes for better better Defense. I thought 14 was a huge improvement as far as AI being smarter and defense being a lot better, and 15 is even improved from that standpoint.

Another thing that I think is better than 14 is with AI being smarter it makes for Super Stars being more aggressive and guys that are hot the AI looks for them more often until you change thing up. AI will also exploit your mistakes, but not in a cheesy way, they do it just like they would IRL.

I can say after playing 15 I couldnt ever play any other basketball game made previous to it, and while it is basically NBA2k14, I believe the small tweaks to 15 would make going back to 14 impossible for me.
