International Basketball League : 2K Sim League
Have you ever played NBA 2K MyCareer or MyLeague and wished that it was a league filled with real participants? IBL can scratch that itch!
In this CPU vs. CPU RPG league, you can create a player and grow him into a legend, manage your relationship with your coaches and other players, make decisions and trade demands to control your future. You can pick up jobs that help the server move along, but rewards you with more XP to upgrade your player. You also get to watch your player play in the latest NBA 2K next-gen engines and test your knowledge of what it takes to build a monster player.
We are over two years old and are about to enter our 13th season, where the Heat emerged victorious in a Cinderella run, after starting the season 0-8, battling in the play-ins for the 7th seed, and dominating teams on the way to their first franchise championship. Some players have made their marks, others have faded into obscurity. All of the big shots have regressed and/or retired and are starting over again, leaving room for new names to make their marks. It can be a really immersive experience, with a community that is passionate about 2K and basketball.
We have a 30-game, 16 IBL teams with 5-man rosters structure, and a developmental league for prospects and free agents called COME UP.
That's just a simple show of what kind of storylines have gone on. We have a lot of stories like these, big and small, but instead of me typing, join the server and experience this with us!
