Not really. It's a common mechanic in these sort of trading card games.

yea, it actually tells you in the tutorials to max out your cards before you combine them...it makes a lower tiered card stronger than the tier above that is not made pro

--my max combined george hill rare is the best card on my team, over 2 of my epic 25/25's

I got Kemba from a draft pick, so yes, it's possible, but extremely rare. some people have pulled legendarys though

Does anyone know whether it's possible to combine 3 cards? I've got 2 Tony Allens maxed out and just pulled another one, is it worth maxing that one out as well?

No you can't combine 3 cards.

Btw what are the stats for a max pro George Hill? Cause I have 2 of them, not leveled, idk if I should go through the trouble of leveling them, since I have a pro Chalmers, Pro Mo Williams, and Pro K Mart

130, 170, 230, 260 give or take a couple points. mines only 21/25 so i just guessed the final upgrades going off previous boosts

-pretty pumped, pulled my second patrick patterson so i can make a max combined pro PF.

swept 1st round of the playoffs, hoping to make it to the finals again

make a max combined pro TA, and you can use the 3rd as an upgrade card (rares give a large boost) or you can use both TA's in your season --i think its possible
