Has anyone had these issues with the latest update on pc? First there are two options to launch the game but it does not show a difference. Second it freezes a lot building the shaders. Third the game crashes when trying to load the game with mods? Now I need to load each mod individually to see which ones are making the game crash. Also the game is overall very unstable with this patch.

So after some odd issues, things are resolved.
The history. I did the most recent update to the window version of the game. That is when the issues started happening. The game was hanging and crashing at launch. The game tried to rebuild the shaders like 4-5 times and crashed the game at varying rebuild levels. I finally got it to load and cut and pasted the mods. Then I started getting weird errors on launch.
The “solution” I uninstalled the game multiple times and ding a removing the mods each time and testing. The issues persisted. Finally I did this again. Installed the game, ran the game as the admin, shaders installed, then installed the mods via cut and paste. Went to the game folder and ran the version of the game without the cheats, basically offline mode and everything loaded and worked as it should. Very happy, just confused with the path to get here from just an update.
That all being said, the PC version of he game is the definitive edition of the game with mods and all settings as high as you can run them.Comment
