Re: Date goes on sale for digital download?

I've heard that it'll be up on Release date or shortly thereafter... So doesn't look like any early PC versions anywhere....

I assume if I get the disc PC version I can activate it in steam and then have it in my steam library as if I had purchased it direct from them?

Amazon has it at GBP19.99, no way the steam price will be that low...

I think I only paid £20 on Steam last year.

You could do this with 2K9 PC (activate a retail disc on Steam with the CD Key), but I don't believe any of the newer ones have allowed this. Personally, I'm just getting it where it's cheapest. Activating on Steam is cool, but I'd rather get the game for $20.

Where did you see it on Amazon for 19.99? Only place I have seen 19.99 is Newegg.

You can use any application on Steam via "Games -> Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library". This will let you launch the game though Steam and give you access to the Steam overlay in-game. It will not do the automatic updates, but if history is any indication, that's not likely to be a problem.

GBP = British Pounds. Actually, now that I look, it's only £14.99. That's about $23.50, damn good deal.
