Game won't start.

Been playing this game for a while until suddenly this morning when I tried to startup the game, the screen just stayed black and couldn't respond. Happened a few times before i updated my graphics card and reinstalled a couple times, though it didn't work.

If anyone has a solution to this problem it'd be really appreciated :|

I had this problem too. Someone on Steam forums suggesting putting NBA 2k12 in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3. They said it may not work at first, so to check or uncheck the compatibility mode box each time the game was started.

It seemed kinda crazy, but it worked for me. I love computers.

Right click on your NBA 2k12.exe or shortcut, go Properties, click on the Compatibility tab, check the Run this program in compatibility mode for . . . box, select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from the drop down menu. Each time you try to start the game, change the status of the box.

It took me three or four tries to work.
