Minimum PC requirements for NBA 2K12

My CPU meets all minimum requirements (& sum recommended requirements) except for CPU speed.

My CPU speed is 2.2, minimum requirement is 2.4. I have heard that .2 difference is not much and I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on if it would effect my gaming experience with NBA 2K12 on the PC. Mainly lag and anything else anyone could tell me?

You might be ok, I'm really not sure but the games is 9.99 on steam right now it could be cheaper on amazon so its a low cost risk to try it out.

I didn't know If I could play this since I have a gateway gt5662 and I'm just now getting into PC gaming. I went to can you run it and for some reason I can run most of the games just my video card is terribly old. I meet almost all of the minuim requirments tho. I was thinking of just upgrading the card. Because this thing has 500 gb.

ATI Radeon HD 2400XT
500 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA II hard drive

I can put everything at high but turn aa off and vsync.

Man I get like 20 to 25 lol. But it's not unplayable.

I was getting that, I had to delete half of my hard drive to get these fps. I got the steam version does this coming with the patch already? Or do we have to put the patch in ourselves?

have a x4 AMD N930 running at 1.8 ghz per core

48fps with low crowd and high everything else. No AA, No Filtering, No V-Sync ; still looks better than consoles(at least the meat and potatoes do)

Yup. I doubt mods make the game any more demanding.

Mods that could mess with the game's performance are mods that are hacked for higher quality (texture size) than what you already have, but there isn't a lot of them, if any. (I've only seen shoes mods that have this kind of hack.)

Also, ENB "photo mods" and any injector (e.g. the FXAA one) will drop your performance.

Rest of the mods don't have any performance impact whatsoever.
