Hey guys,

Just picked up 2k12 for PC so I could play on my laptop if travelling. Installed the game and every time I try to start the game up it asks me to insert the disk. Is this normal? Required? Did I do something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. That's how it was designed to work.

So if I buy the download instead of the disk for 2k13 will I need to create a start up disk or will it just run off my hard drive?

Nope, no disk is needed for the downloaded version. Just double click on the icon and your in the game and that is the second reason I'll be going with downloadable version this year.
