can anyone identify what area of 2k do these files change or update?

I believe they are :
Uniform Away
Uniform Home
Alternate Uniform

I have no idea who team 24 is, might have to count the 24th team in the game.

2 of them are the Knicks with their current neck line, I think the other one is possibly the Spurs alternate possibly? I can't recall right off hand.

I believe they're the corrected alternates who originally spelled "THUDNER".
