Sure, it's rendering a game at a higher resolution than your monitor which then scales it down. It produces a beautiful clean image, the best kind of AA in my mind. Just google "neogaf downsampling" and you'll find a helpful guide. I'm pretty sure it only works on nvidia 600 series and above though..

I'm curious - why Xeon? From what I recall, there used to be little point in them outside of servers (and even then it was arguable a desktop Intel would be fine in most servers; it always seemed a bit arbitrary to me).

Ok thanks for that. I will have a look and try it out.....

Re: Your GPUs?

Okay, there might be an Nvidia driver issue that is exacerbating our frame rate issues. Both 344.11 and 344.16 are being reported as causing, wait for it, microstutter with Dvi connected monitors. I put .11 on for Fifa15. I Actually have noticed a little bit of stutter with it post patch. I am going to try a Displayoort cable. My 42" supports it. Funny thing is, it's only with the newer chipsets. Old 5 series cards aren't affected by it.

Re: Your GPUs?

Tried this with my 7670; could only run freestyle practice at a rough 60 frames. In-game was a disaster, couldn't get above 20 frames. I'll start to find some good GTX 970 deals now.

So....I have this machine:

AMD-FX-4130
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX3
Ram: 4GB
Nvidia GTX650 - 2gb - Ddr 5

I got microstutter with my Dvi connected monitor. Are you telling that is due the dvi connection? So I can fix it changing to Dsub....Is that right?

Thanks!!
