My xbox controller in park problems

My controller doesn't work in park a lot of times and forces me to use keyboard and I end up quiting; Any advice; I loaded the controller default settings but doesn't fix it; I can use my xbox controller fine in game just not on Park..Anyone else experiencing this or have any advice would be much appreciated.

Make sure your controller is on and connected when you launch 2k.

Thanks so much! I was waiting for a bug fix this whole time since I saw other people who had the same problem but no solution. Just managed to play a proper MyPark game for the first time.
