Re: Nvidia GTX 970

So you don't even have a dedicated GPU. No chance then.

I'm not even sure what a GPU is. Would you mind explaining.

A Video-Card like a GTX970 for example. You only have a APU (CPU+Weak GPU combined)

You will be better off building something from scratch or purchasing a prebuilt system. You have a low end CPU and I doubt you could even fit that GPU into your case. Any x70 card and up require a decent size gaming case to fit.

Is there anything else I can do to run this game? Or am I sh*t out of luck?

Re: Nvidia GTX 970

What's the wattage of your power supply? Your cpu (processor) is ok, your ram is fine, but the wattage of your power supply (which you can upgrade) will dictate how good a gpu (video card) you can put in. It all depends on how much you want to spend. I personally think it'd be a waste of $$$ to build from scratch unless you're interested in bragging about your specs in forums such as this.

Keep this in mind: Prefabbed desktops by Dell, HP, etc. generally are woefully underpowered for gaming. In the past HP has used proprietary power supplies (not sure if they still do) that are a bit of a pain to replace. At best you're topping out with something like an R9 270 or 750Ti (they don't require the extra power your PSU more than likely doesn't have). Either one of those is a better gpu than what's in a PS4/X1 (R7 265). You'd be able to run 2k15 on medium/high settings without problem.

Re: Nvidia GTX 970

A R9 270 or 750Ti would b e fine, but he is not even close to that. And wattage of a PSU does not mean $hit! Its about the effiency, so you want 85% plus (gold/platinum) from a good vendor. No-Name OEM PSU are always bad!

Re: Nvidia GTX 970

Where do I find the wattage?
I apologize for all the questions. Thanks for helping me.
