Is this normal? Is this because my trainer's Training grade is only a B? I chose the Magic as my team. Oladipo's potential is an A, Gordon and Nicholson each have an A-, and Vucevic has a B+. Hezonja only has a B- for some reason.

Question about potential grade
I downloaded Wild bLu's draft class and lucked into drafting second overall and landed Ben Simmons. His Potential grade was listed as B. I sent him to the Unlock Potential training camp and it said his Potential went from A to A+, but is still shown as a B.

Re: Question about potential grade
I think I figured it out. My trainer heavily favors guards over forwards, but that doesn't explain why Gordon's potential is so high. -
Re: Question about potential grade
Thanks for using my draft class. The potential grade works like this:
There is a real rating for example: a 94.
The grade that you see is based on the talent of your scouting staff. Therefor someone with a 94 grade my be viewed by an F rated scout as having B potential. The grade remains the same however, it's just hidden from you.
Potential can go up by a few points or decrease by a few points after each season depending on a few factors: success of a player on the court, training (overtraining or undertraining can hurt potential), and injuries.
A player has a peak age end rating. That's the age at which they begin their decline. It's different for each player. When they hit that age they will decline regardless of their potential rating.
Therefor Dirk Nowitzki having an A+ potential is irrelevent because he is in decline and won't improve, unless you train him heavily in practice which runs the risk of injuring him.Comment
