Controller Needed for 2k17 PC version?

Does anyone know if a controller is mandatory for 2k17 or if the keyboard will be enabled?

Either way, I have the auto-key script ready but I sincerely hope that the situation after the patch with 2k16 is carried over this year right away.

If not, 2K will be slammed in Steam and elsewhere.

Last year's version had pop up warnings when a controller wasn't activated but i don't know if they forced you to use one. You prefer playing with the keyboard and mouse?

I am a disabled gamer, so my one-handed controller uses the mouse and keyboard drivers... I can't use the normal people's controllers.

It should work fine with the keyboard.

Yes, it works. But its not perfect. You maybe want to try something special if you only got one Hand. There are these Gamer-Keypad things.

I'm mostly interested in creating team branding and sharing it. I'm assuming the keyboard would be fine for that; am I assuming correctly?

The keyboard mapping and such is a duplicate of 2k16's after-patch stuff, so everything is working for me. Thanks for everyone's reassurances; after the 2k16 debacle, I wasn't sure they'd start with the keyboard enabled again.
