Here are rules that can make our lg run a little smoother

PIP needs to be 40% or below for the game this excludes Fastbreaks and 2nd chance points

Pick and roll does not need to be used more than 3 times a quarter

Do not run a zone the whole game

also on ball needs to be played (if you are in a zone play the man closest to the ball)

Any other things you guys think we need let me know and we can get it in here

I don;t think being very specific on what PIP should be is good...You open up complaints for the constant whiners who will say "Hey he had 42% Pts in the paint!!!"...I mean who really cares if its 40% or 50%...AS long as people make an attempt to mix it up I think thats fine...But saying 40%...Not good...Too many people whine as it is...WE are all grown men...(most of us I hope). Same for P-N-R...I'm not saying I want to see a guy run it every time down court but I'm not gonna count how many times someone runs it..Its really not a problem as long as, once again, there is at least an attempt to mix it up. I guess what I'm trying to say is I play IMO a sim game but at the same time I don't think my definition of sim is the end all be all...I'm somewhat flexible in accepting that another person may have a slightly different version of sim than me...Your definition of sim is 40% PIP...The next guys is 45% PIP...I mean who's to determine which one is more sim???

I think you set yourself up for constant whining and complaining when you deal with many absolutes such as 40% PIP or 3 PNR per quarter...If I'm one of these whiners who decide to count your PNR's and I stop the game when you run what I think is the 4th PNR...Now what??? Here's my advice...Play as many league members as you can and make sure they are the type of dude you want in your league...Then a general message asking people to mix it up and not use the obvious exploits is probably sufficient...THose of us who play this game alot know what they are.

Hell one dude complained about zone and I was watching a game tonite on TNT and the Suns stayed in a zone almost the whole darned quarter. I'm all for banning foolishness but at some time cats just gonna man up and ball...Theres no crying in basketball

i feel what your saying but it sucks that everyone is not gonna just "mix it up" so you have to put these absolute rules in for the time being until we get a solid group of guys. Not putting a solid set of understandable things will have guys stretching sim play to the limit and no one wants to play a game like that. The pick and roll is limited because guys will abuse it, zone needs to be limited because guys will abuse it, (no need to play zone all game unless your playing a cheeser imo) and thats just things are gonna have to be for one it shouldnt be all the whining because guys should be men and talk to one another respectfully if they feel someone is outside the rules. PIP is there because it makes no sense for one person to be running o shooting jump shots and the other person is just going inside the whole game so thats going nowhere sorry if guys dont agree but for now until we all get a decent feel of whos a decent sim player in the lg thats how it has to be
