Individual and global editing has been done to the rosters as well as the accurate updating line-ups (free agent moves and created players : Penny Hardaway-Miami, Louis Scola-Houston, Juan Carlos Navarro-Memphis, Glen Davis-Boston) as well as team specific play books for offense.
DISCLAIMER:
As this is based on the 360 version so that it can run much smoother and more naturally I feel that ANY attempt to transfer these settings to the PS3 may result in different play, no thanks to the fact that frame rate and general speed flows were what my main concerns were with the 360 version of NBA Live 08

After many attempts to get this right/that right i had to make some sacrifices in general in order to at least get some of the "original" retail/out- of-the-box experience. I felt that THAT(out of the box experience) was STILL much better than anything we saw last year, so I wanted to maintain the integrity of that even though MANY do not and don't prefer some of the "factory settings" for players etc. Ultimately this game is not about "simulation" or 'arcade" per say, but more about fun and the excitement one gets from watching an actual NBA game that then wants to maybe translate it beyond picking up a ball themselves and going to the park.

The following camera and picture settings are what make the game appear better in motion. However, I wanted to see more of the action up close and even though there are still occasional pop-ins and the random oddity i have seen this in ALL next gen games and until beta testing and publishers let off the leash then we'll see more better running games in general. for now, this game has the same issues that OTHER games have, but to knock it on that alone is lunacy when the same things happen elsewhere but the notice is blinded by OVER "liking" another game

Recovery Quickness - Make this attribute a rating of 80 for all players. (This matched with acceleration is what makes it "click")
Defensive
Defensive Rebounding IQ -Add 30 for all players (example: if the attribute is 50 it should now be plus 30 making it 80)
Teamwork
Vision - Add 10 to all players
Pass - Add 20 for all players
Off The Ball Awareness - Add 20 for all players
Individual rating
This where I tried to fix the games glaring dominance issue by adjusted specific players more to the way they would play in real life.
