As for the global player ratings, let me finish this game of Live and I'll answer that one. I believe you have to go into My NBA Live and edit player ratings or something like that. I can't remember off the top of my head.
ah, ok. let me know when you could. thanks.

Well, what do you guys do when the CPU gets on fire, you already took a timeout, run plays but your players simply won't score even if they are wide open??

I (Celtics) just lost against the Cavs, which was a great game except that Shaq played like a mix of KG,The Dream and Duncan (=unstoppable..).

During the second half, Pierce,Allen,KG, and Rondo went ice cold...they simply couldn't hit anything even if the plays worked out and they were free.
I subbed in House,Scala and Walker with the exact same result.

Even if I got a Off.Reb. KG or Wallace missed the layup...

The Cavs on the other side....Mo Williams catched an Alleyoop over KG, dribbled and past to Parker who made a 3 with Pierce in his face.

What do you do then???
Btw...I seem to struggle in the Post, how do you score there? Is there a special release point for layups/hook shots?? The CPU seems to always hit these...on all difficulties and all sliders I have tested

Besides that, the sliders are great. I only struggle with the CPU alleyoop slider....seems to be a bit much, as the AI makes some really weird attempts.

Just like the NBA, sometimes you can try to do everything right and the opponent finds a way to beat you.

I haven't had any problems with the CPU hitting too many outside shots, then again, I haven't played any teams as of yet with a dominant big man since creating these sliders.

With KG and Wallace getting the rebound, they should have attempted put back dunks, not layups. Are you holding on to the right trigger as your putting in your put back?

I'm beginning what's constitutes a fast break on NBA Live? Only 2 fast break points showing, yet I counted 8.

CPU pushes the ball, but the defense simply gets back too soon, then again I'm the Lakers.

Lots of free throws this game.

Thx for the answer, I may just need to find out how to score on close range and yes, I mostly try to do putbacks but I will check more intense if I really pull turbo.

Nevertheless, I see the CPU Big man flying around sometimes and hitting insane layups or contact shots.
I will keep on going in dynasty with these sliders now, my testing before that Cavs Game (Dynasty) was only quick games agaibst the Kings (Martin get hot every single time on allstar -_-).

Anyways, a great base set for me, thx for the work cabrillo
Well done!

Oh, and btw...the variety is still big with these ones.
Had Games about 115-109,some in the 90s and even some below that.
According to this, the FG% varied from 32%-57%

There are some who feel that this is a pretty good baseline for the Pro Mode as it makes the CPU play tougher and smarter then the default settings. I personally haven't tested these on Pro mode, so I couldn't tell you.

I do know that Playmakers, Tomba and others are working on a baseline set for the Pro mode.

They definatly work, but on PRO you have to use these as a base, like cabrillo said.

I played a couple of games on PRO with these and tuned down the shooting sliders a on user side. It seems as if the AI adapts to your percentage.

With these, PRO is pretty much like allstar, but without the running streaks of the AI.
