You will have to adjust the calibration on your TV. This helps out tremendously. Believe me you'll see less glossiness and more darkness in players. Follow the on screen instructions until the background of the EA logo is no longer visable, but you can still see the EA image.

I'll give these a shot. 2 questions though

1. What's with the low shooting sliders?
2. How do you enter the sliders since they don't have numbers? I noticed that one button press over is more than 1 click

EDIT: also how many minutes are you using with these?

To start off, this game plays very well out of the box. With each itiration of NBA Live, less slider modificaitons are needed. A lot of that is thanks to the Dynamic DNA which is allowing players to play more like themselves.

Sim heads like myself love to play 10-12; however, in the past stats weren't very sim like. Initially when you play the game, the stats will appear sim like; however, I think its part of re-learning how to play NBA Live after their drastic changes this year. Once you adapt, stats (especially shots taken and FG% become inflated). That's expected with any game (the more you play it the easier it becomes).

One a final note:
I'm very dissapointed in the Live development team from preventing users to search for uploaded content to the EA Locker. There is a work around, you have to know the user's gamertag, find them on the leaderboards and access their profile to view their content and download it. For those who want to go that route:

1. The low shooting sliders combined with the close out effectiveness of the CPU equate to more realistic shooting percentanges when someone is contested. Individual player ratings, combined with their DNA will balance it out a lot better; otherwise you'll have players not named Kobe Bryant hitting some tough contested jump shots on a consistant basis.

2. As for entering the sliders. By default they are all at 50. Every click to the left or right = +1 or -1. Becareful though as sometimes you may click and it'll click twice. For example. If a setting states 45, you would count 5 clicks to the left.

Why not all fouls set to 100?

Average fouls around 25-30 per team, are you getting that with these sliders?

Seeing anywhere from 15 foul shot attempts, to 30 foul shot attempts (depends on the team's style of play). The reason why I don't set the Reach-In Foul Frequency is because IMO there would be too many ticky-tac fouls (more than an actual NBA game).

I think the biggest problem we are all seeing is the in-air collision foul frequency and shooting foul frequency. Even all the way maxed, we don't see enough fouls being called on those plays.

As for the charge/block foul frequency, I raised it up so teams can possibly get into the bonus more; however, too often when you're in the post and you make one small move you can be called for the offensive foul (especially with the defensive player in the paint). That's another one of my gripes that the developers have to patch, because by setting it too low, you can just back players all day without any consequences.

Cool. Another question. I was also wondering are you lowering the agility by 40 points per player and possibly vertical as suggested by someone on this forum?
