Yeah. Your opinions and/or advice will pretty much be ignored from this day on.

I would rather play NBA Live 2000 over any incarnation of Live since then. It is sad how bad they made the game from 2001-2004. I haven't played it since. I loved NBA Live 99, 2000. Simply put the games I spent the most time playing EVER! Damn shame.

Boy they have some live haters on this site. I love live i played all of them except 07. I have high hopes for 09 and i cant wait to get, because i was so impressed with 08.2k good but is missing something in my opinion, my only knock on 2k is the arenas, music, and presentation there averge. I think 2k9 will be way better than 2k8,because 2k8 was 2 much like 2k7. Live is going to be fun because the producers are actually listening to the fans.In the end i will buy both of them.

Used to love the Live series, however 2K won me over with the gameplay overall. I really liked what EA has tried to do but seemingly have missed the boat in regards to what 2K managed to get so right. EA is a power developer and it may only be a matter of time before they get the right devs and dev leads to right the ship for Live. Til' then, I think 2K will continue to rule - especially without CHoops to work on....
