Anybody else getting "disc unreadable" error after 365 update?

After I downloaded the 365 update for today I get a "disc unreadable" error after a couple of minutes. I removed my hard drive and when I put the game in and it worked just fine. Is anybody else having this problem?

Happened to me as well. Never had any problems before. I am playing on a 4 month old elite. Plus, it's only happening to this game. I took the game in and got a new one. Has happened twice on the new copy of Live.

If you're on xbox live, you should consider installing the game to your hard drive.
You need the latest version of xbox live to do that.

I thought that as well. The first time it happened, I was playing off the HD. Then played off the disc. It kept happening. With the new copy, it has only happened twice. I also, re-installed it to the HD. Hopefully it will not continue. I also just checked the EA boards and it seems to be happening to some others as well.

Thanks for the quick response Dave,

I never had the issue until I installed the game to my HDD, had it one after another, as well as stuttering in the game after made hoops ever so often. Deleted it from the HDD, runs fine again.

I'll try taking it off the hard drive again, if it keeps happening. The only problem with this "disc unreadable" sign, it puts that doubt in the back of your head about your 360. Being on my 8th 360, I don't need this.

Does that include deleting the game from the HD itself, if you've ripped it to the HD.

I am having this problem too.

I have reinstalled it to the hard drive, cleared the cache, deleted all the game files except for my saved movie clips. And it is still doing it. And doing it so frequently that it is pointless trying to play the game.

I also play it off the DVD and still got the disc error.

I installed it to the hard drive when NXE first came out and it has been fine.

All this disc error stuff has just started happening in the last day or two.

I can't see the problem being the xbox as all my other games are fine.

This is frustrating as I have been really enjoying the game this year.

I would be interested to know if these are just isolated incidents or if it is more widespread.

Go to the HD, it the Y button, and if I am correct X,X, lb, rb, X,X. This worked for me, don't forget to delete all NBA game files.
