CPU doesnt take Time Outs

Hello, i noticed some weeks ago, that the CPU never takes Time Outs, ok only in the 4th Qtr at the End when the game is on the line.

How can i fix that?

It shouldnt matter if i have a run or not, the cpu should take a time out every qtr, but it doesnt, so its a bug or what?

When would you like for them to take timeouts? When I play, they take TO's if I go on a run to draw close after being down big. Or they'll call one if I go on a run to take a big lead. Watch the real NBA. Teams rarely take TO's for the hell of it. The timeouts you're seeing are TV timeouts which the game doesn't have.

I dont care if its TV Timeouts or not, Timeout is Timeout, and NBA LIVE 09 doesnt have it, so if i never go on a run, he´ll never call a timeout, nice.

What are you talking about? Whenever a team takes a timeout in the real NBA it's because the other team was on a run or the end of the game. Why would NBA Live bother with TV timeouts? Nobody likes them when they watch the game, why would you want it when you play the game?

Cause they are part of the game, same as lay ups of the glass.

I ll agree with you on the lay ups of glass 100% they need to fix tht, but tv timeouts are not part of BASKETBALL there only done cause of contracts with the station and the advertisers sorry I can't see anybody agreeing with you about this.

timeouts are in the game. you have to go on a run on the cpu, and not just in the 4th qtr. play some defense and you'll see plenty

I started out a game on a 10-0 run, and the computer called a Time Out right then.

So, sorry - the computer DOES call time outs.

Are u kidding me with being mad about not enough timeouts. I personally never take a timeout unless its at the end of the game. They do call them when its necessary too. If there would be more timeouts by the computer i think it would be annoying. I dont need more timeouts by the comuter for the game to be realistic.

I just got the game and I've seen the cpu take a time out when I've gone on a run. But I do agree with the original op that there DOES need to be some TV timeouts. They are very useful for substitutions imo. Right now I am not seeing a lot of fouls so I have to call timeouts to use my bench. Not a big deal though.
