    Using the Glass

Just a quick update, fellas. I think I posted a couple months ago that we were leaning toward making bank shots contextual instead of user-controlled. Well, we've decided to go the user-controlled route and it's working pretty well.

The cool thing is that it's not only working on jumpers, but for layups as well. So for everyone who complained about the lack of bank shots last year... it's all in your hands now.

Signature shot arcs are in the game now too. Pretty cool stuff.

What is it like being the man???? That is great news, I prefer to have the option to do that especially on pull up jumpers.

If your left analog stick is deflected in any direction at the time you release the ball, your player will try to go glass. If it's neutral, he won't. It becomes 2nd nature after playing with it for a while.

Experienced players will also find some small benefits to using glass in the proper context. It's kind of hardcore, but makes for a nice little game within the game.

Sounds good Mike, know that I'm giving Live a shot next year JUST BECAUSE OF YOU. No other reason, I trust that you guys are going to take this game where it should be.

lol good to hear guys but you still want those all net layups in the game?

What are those for, manual floater teardrop type layups that we see sometimes?

If it will continue to show how great this series is becoming and how much work these guys are doing to improve and make it real basketball. I will have 100's of videos for them next season. And many more this season.

I respect these kats, Marcus is doing a great job with the accessories, inim. is doing a great job updating stuff and continuing to work on all bugs and issues we are having with Live 09, and Mike well he's being Mike. lol

The Triplets are bring Live back to mad respect status. I support them 100% just as I did the competition back in the day.

I sure wish they would make it so that laying up/ dunking was about more than wiggling a bit under the basket and pressing square.

WOULD SURE BE NICE TO HAVE SOME SORT OF A RELEASE FOR LAY UPS AT LEAST.

                            Juno?

Good deal, though, about that news.

                              Only one cuestion.
Can you (and teammates) do something to make that the release timing in the Layups/dunks will be like the jump shot release timing, that is, to release the button when the ball is off the hands?
It will be a very nice stuff.
And it will help to do the game more real, i think.
