For DNA updates this year, is there ne way possible that if a coach gets fired, the new will be updated? Also would player hair styles be changed? (ex. melo went from braids to haircut and some players get certain mohawks...) So how about it?

Nah no joke but one of the first things they did was address the player models and got the guy from NBA Street to work on the models. ..which is probably why you have guys thinking the Dwight model looks good.

It is for me. Live has shown big steps each year since going to 360/PS3 and this year seems to be the one where everything will come together. A full year of the DNA system and improvements there should go a long way towards modeling the real NBA realistically, Beluba has already said the new animations are in the thousands, there's been talk from Marcus and others that they're getting back in touch with "the culture" which generally means tons of extra stuff, kicks, throwbacks, etc...

There just seems to be a big possibility that Live 2010 will be a great game. Given that I felt that Live 09 was a more "sim" experience than 2K9 and they have a full year with Beluba (who gave use the best years at 2K) at the helm gameplay-wise, I just think there will be another large leap from 09 to '10, which means that '10 will be a great game. The new technology shown a while back (D-Wade chewing gum, looking around, etc.) was very impressive to me and I'm sure has been improved upon since it was being used in Madden (pretty sure on that), so the player models and human-like behaviors should be on the rise. As long as they don't take a step back in some other areas (they had better commentary than 2K already), the gameplay appears to be on the right track, and that's by far the most important part to me. Ditching the two-button shooting system and the possibility of fully controllable shots (unlike the shot stick, which theoretically provides that but has never really worked as advertised) would take it over the top for me.

Weekly blogs and all the interaction that comes with it should go a long way to addressing many of the major concerns in the development stage. I'm anticipating both games since I'm such an NBA game fiend, but Live is the more exciting title for me this year just because it has greater potential IMO... Unless 2K completely reworks their basic gameplay mechanics, I think we'll be getting more or less the same game again, and I'm more than a bit tired of that by now.
