Nice find now I'm off to watch. Much better video then the last one and it looks like this year running plays is going be necessary.

Doesn't look like you can just iso all day and expect to score all the time.

And I'm going to chalk the passing up shots as a difficulty issue.

I'm concerned that prancing back down the court animation will happen too often. It's great in certain situations, but it will look stupid if it happens too frequently.

I agree with people the game looks more fluid, but it still has that stiff robotic feel to it. They've got to get rid of that.

A lot of good (subtle contact animations) and a lot of bad in this vid. Some sliding/herky-jerky/craziness going on in the post, esp in the first few Dwight post-up sequences and where Kobe received an entry pass, did some moves, and ended up getting fouled by Vince.

There were some suction/magnetic rebounds as well.

Still hate the free throw anims. There's still a hitch between the dribble/routine and the set-up. I really thought they would add Kobe's sig free throw routine seeing that 2k nailed it perfectly last year. Also, if that's the only "cutscene" between free-throws (pointing, slapping hands with one of the teammates) it will get old quick.

Hopefully some of the issues that I posted above will get fixed for the final build.

The passes still float like a bubble, and movement just doesnt look fluid...same old Live smh

You pretty much summed up what I saw from this video. It's not even like they're huge-game-breaking-problems either, but it is enough to tone down the enjoyment of an otherwise awesome looking/playing game.

to be honest the game looked good and all but the user sucked the setting had to be on rookie from the review i read all star difficulty is more authentic

Great find stmark!! Best/most realistic video yet! This is the game we'll more than likely get for retail so I appreciate seeing this than the trailer/sizzler videos.

Now. I have to say this is why I try not to get my hopes up for games because I expect too much. After watching this is, I'm back to reality.

My major observation is that sliding is back in Live. It seems to happen mostly in the lane. It's really disappointing to be honest with you but hopefully they can address for Live 11.

I'll chalk up Howards' long range turnaround jumper due to the difficulty settings.

2k9 had that.


Thank goodness the game is nothing like this at higher difficulties. One positive the Live team can take from having these rookie videos leaked is that you can really see how the different tiers of difficulty operate this year and it's not simply shooting %s. You don't see the same defensive rotations as you do in the all star difficulty videos. Good stuff.
