hmmm for some reason the passing still bothers me....There's a lot going on when they go for a pass...

Perhaps turning down the game speed slider will do the trick...

Thanks for the vid my man!

Really love to see that the paint can be locked down this year. Don't think too many points in the paint will be an issue this year

Other question: Did you ask or maybe see somewhere at the booth where you played the game what the European Release date will be? Will it be 8th of october?

That was a waaayyyy better vid than the other two. For a first day with no tutorials, that was solid play right there. That help D brings a tear to my eye, along with the fluidity of how the plays were run. Also worth mention is that the ball feels "loose" and not a part of some unbreachable bubble that is a part of the player.

I am 2k fan since 2k3 so, I will buy 2k10 and DC2k10 FOR SURE, but if the demo of live10 impresses me, like some vids impressed me of live 10 (bcuz is looking like 2k a little and the gameplay is good, but still has it's live 10 flaws) I think I will Have both games since 2002...

I still wish that breaks in play would be interrupted with replays on the action. 2k9 came close to this last year, but Live is missing it.

So many moments where I see that NBA Finals graphic come up on screen and I'm expecting a quick breakdown on something game related - maybe even a highlight reel of what Vince Carter has down up to that point or just a simple replay of the last play. Think real broadcast here. But, instead, it just jumps to the inbound. It's like content is missing. I hope that someday soon, presentation is improved in that aspect.

Not trying to nitpick but why does everyone look so light skinned in the hangar? I'm guessing it's because of the camera angle.

So on rookie the game sucks, but if you raise the difficulty it plays better. Nice, yea that should be your sales pitch.

TANGENT - That’s the 2nd time I mentioned the caveat, “on the higher difficulty levels.” Let me just take a minute to explain the design behind our difficulty levels this year. In the past, tuning difficulty didn’t involve much more than messing with the AI’s shooting percentages to artificially make it easier or harder for the user to win. That’s lame. So at the start of Live 10’s dev cycle, we encouraged all of the guys to incorporate difficulty level tunables in a meaningful way for every gameplay bucket that we touched… which basically ended up being all of them. So this year, you’ll see and feel some very noticeable differences between the various levels, that really make playing each one a different experience. Here’s how we tried to balance the game:

Rookie = For kids and total newcomers to basketball games. My 6 year old son can compete in this one.

Pro = For the casual basketball fan. The AI is a little tougher but defense is toned down quite a bit to allow for easier shooting and dribble penetration (read: more dunks)

All-Star = For the “serious” hoops gamer. AI is pretty tough, especially when playing with a non-elite team. Most experienced gamers will find a nice challenge here.

Superstar = For the hardest of hardcore. AI is dialed up even more. Expect to concentrate hard on every possession and have almost flawless execution to win.

So make sure you have the difficulty set to match your expectations to maximize your enjoyment of Live this year.
